In partnership with the Princeton Program for Research on Inequality, and with support from the WorkRise Network and the Urban Institute, the Opportunity Lab is launching a major new initiative to build new evidence on the role of state and federal wage and employment policy in reducing racial wage and wealth disparities and building a more equitable labor market over the long-term.

Led by Ellora Derenoncourt and Claire Montialoux, this new initiative is supporting multiple new faculty research projects, steering new graduate-level research portfolios, bringing together policy-makers and researchers to develop new agendas, and offering an important new evidence base on developing smart wage, employment, and safety net policy for a more equitable future.
